About
Creating toys and helping other artists turn their toy dreams into marketable reality.
For over a decade I’ve worked at toy-making studios in New York, creating prototypes for major brands such as Disney, Kid Robot and Mattel. (While also working in theater and opera, but that’s a story for another website). As product development followed industrial production and moved offshore, I started experimenting with digital sculpting and 3D printing and in 2014 uploaded my first 3D file to Shapeways, the New York based high-end 3D printing outfit. Since then I’ve helped create toy products for large corporations, design firms and independent creators. Projects include a 3d printed multi-part plaque with embedded images for Sony Music; plush toys for the Unusual Creatures project of independent artist Michael Hearst; a light-fixture design for Kikkerland, a celebrity-likeness for PXL Bros. of California, Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood for Giants are Small; Philippe the Penguin for New York Philharmonic.
From bobbleheads to paper masks, if you have an idea I can help you bring it to market. Please feel free to get in touch and see if we can create something together.
